Warehouse Associate
Job Summary
This job will be in person at 425 Distribution Drive Suite 200 West Columbia SC 29170. The job hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. This is an entry-level position in which the associate is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing online customer orders for shipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing orders
- Scanning completed orders and creating shipping labels
- Maintaining a clean work space
Order Picking
- Locate and select item for customer orders via pick tickets
- Ensure correct items, quantities, and variations are picked
- Follow established procedures to complete orders efficiently and accurately
Order Packing & Preparation
- Pack items securely to prevent damage
- Label packages with correct packaging dimensions
- Maintain an orderly workspace while packing so as not to misplace or damage product
Technology Use
- Use basic tools such as scanners, tablets, and/or computers to process orders
- General understanding of basic computer use
Teamwork & Communication
- Ask questions if unsure about tasks or procedures
- Support teammates as needed during busy periods
Physical Requirements
- Stand or walk for extended periods
- Lift up to 30 lbs with or without assistance
- Climbing ladders and selecting product from high racking
- Work in a fast paced, constantly growing environment
